The WS-N Woltman bulk water meter with vertical turbine shaft guarantees a high degree of measuring accuracy, even for low flows

The WS-N water meter by ZENNER is a Woltman type meter with vertical turbine shaft that can be employed in the cold or hot water area.

The Woltman type WS meter (Woltman vertical) can show off its advantages where flows fluctuate. Because the turbine is positioned vertically to the pipe axis, the worm gear rotation is not redirected to the counter in this water meter. The reduced friction for WS meters produces even lower starting flows than with WP meters (Woltman parallel). The hydrodynamically optimised turbine is reliably activated, even where the flow is minimal, and has a large enough "upwards" power reserve even to be able to record flow peaks reliably. Specially reinforced low-friction bearings guarantee the water meters' long service life.
Active and passive pulsers can be retrofitted at any time without damaging the calibration seal. All conventional sensor versions are available, with reed contact, optical and NAMUR induction encoders, and integration into data transfer and management systems is a piece of cake.
